Vastrick Security are hired to keep an African Stateswoman alive for just 72 hours until she can deliver a speech that will rock the world. Not too difficult a task unless several African despots, rogue security forces and the world’s deadliest assassin want her dead. The second in the deeply authentic City of London Thriller series has shocks at every turn as the plot races from London to Cuba and on to the USA. A gripping story told in around 100,000 words.

I enjoyed this story very much, despite his fictional valuation of Tanzanite and Afrikaners being involved in it's exploitation. The author should also seek advice on electrical principles and practice. Current doesn't' flow in volts and volts of traction is also a nonsense. He has written better.Product details

Chameleon A City of London Thriller edition by J Jackson Bentley Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
Well written with a free flowing sense of action. Clearly designed characters and interesting premise. Good book and I would gladly recommend it.
I think i enjoyed the 1st book a bit better, but this author is definetly worth reading, looking forward to reading book 3 on New Zealand, my home country.
I've been reading most of the author's books and have found them entertaining and engaging. Love the characters. It's without much of the trashy, unnecessary sex that seems to invade most other books.
The first third was good and fast paced....the middle DRAGGED....most of the last third returned to form...the ending STUNK! Often as I was reading thru the story the problems kept coming back to Billy Joel's lyric "British politician sex"!
Espionage, great action and international intrigue abound in this novel. The plot's twists and turns were surprising and unexpected. If you like assassins, spies and political situations, you'll enjoy this thriller. It captured my interest and wouldn't let go until the very end. I'll certainly be reading more of Bentley's City of London thrillers.
I bought this book immediatelyl after finishing 48 Hours, by the same author. I was not disappointed, in fact I think I enjoyed Chameleon even more. Plot's are intriguing, but not unbelievable. Characters are likeable. the writing style flows easily, making this book a very enjoyable read.
This book was a good book. It kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. There were a lot of twists including one big surprise that I never had come across before.
I enjoyed this story very much, despite his fictional valuation of Tanzanite and Afrikaners being involved in it's exploitation. The author should also seek advice on electrical principles and practice. Current doesn't' flow in volts and volts of traction is also a nonsense. He has written better.
